In the lead-up to their first fight in 1964, Ali, then Cassius Clay, frequently used the phrase "Bear Huntin'" to describe his plans to defeat Sonny Liston, who was known for his intimidating presence and power.  Ali's "Bear Hunting" talk was a deliberate tactic to get under Liston's skin and undermine his confidence. He famously wore the jacket with the phrase "I'm Gonna Whup this Bear”.
